In the event of an emergency during our normal business hours, call and let us know you are on your way if possible, and proceed directly to Dunwoody Veterinary Center. Our office hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 6:00 pm and Saturday 8:00 am - 12:00 noon.

Seek emergency care for a pet in these situations:
- Trauma from a fall or being struck by a car
- Seizures
- Unconciousness
- Trouble breathing
- Vomiting and/or diarrhea for more than 24 hours or acutely severe
- Broken Bones
- Bleeding from the eyes, nose, or mouth
- Blood in urine or feces
- Ingestion or suspected swallowing of antifreeze, rat poison, human medications,
household cleaners, fertilizers, pesticides, harmful chemicals, etc.
- Collapses
- Signs of extreme pain
- Disorientation or bumping into objects
- Straining or unable to urinate (*male cats)
- Swollen abdomen that is hard to the touch, painful, or continues to expand
