Dr. Roberts grew up in LA (lower Alabama) on her family's beautiful farm near Clio. Dr. Roberts moved to Atlanta following veterinary school and has practiced in Dunwoody for the past 11 years. Dr. Roberts has three furry children: Dixie, an English Bulldog, Cosmo, the world's best orange cat, and Tater, a gray tabby cat. In her free time she enjoys Auburn football, traveling, reading, and spending time on the farm in Alabama. Dr. Roberts is pictured with Earl Duncan (1995-2008), DVC's first patient.
Dr. Kimberly C. Hamer
Hamer Veterinary Consulting Relief Services

Dr. Hamer brings over 12 years of small animal medical experience to DVC. She enjoys giving other veterinarians a day off, and has become a regular substitute for Dr. Roberts. She has been servicing veterinary hospitals in the greater Dunwoody area since 2005. She enjoys the balance this gives her life both as a mother and veterinarian. Prior to working relief, she was employed at DeKalb Animal Hospital in Tucker, GA from 1996-2005. Dr. Hamer grew up in Florence, SC, and attended the Univeristy of Georgia earning her B.S. degree in Zoology, as well as a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Her life has always shared the company of dogs, cats, and horses. Kim has been a resident of Dunwoody since 1996, and lives here with her husband, son, and three furry children: Meg, a yellow Lab/Golden mix, Kenly, a longhaired torti-colored cat, and Aibee, a blenheim Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Her special interests include senior care, internal medicine, and disorders of purebred dogs. Dr. Hamer is pictured with Aibee and Meg Hamer.
